Ever since I was
little, I loved construction equipment. I can remember many weekends
spend with my brother and cousins looking for construction sites so we
can climb on the huge machines and dream. It was great to be young. We
all had our small collections of Diecast Toys that no doubt would be
worth a fortune had we kept them.
Later in life, I
realized that it was still pretty cool and I still liked to watch the
big machines work. I never went into construction myself but the
interest remained. Realizing that this was good clean fun, I started a
small collection about ten years ago. These few models I acquired just sat
in boxes. I made a small web site to display them and it became
surprisingly popular but I developed other priorities in life and it
just faded away.
Today, I still have the models and
thought it would be cool to develop a really nice site to display them.
I still buy an occasional model or two and plan to keep this one going for
years to come. After all, what good is a collection if you can't show it
off? |
