For my job in the computer industry, I travel around the USA often. Each month I'll try to snap a picture of a some equipment from one of my trips for your enjoyment. This is a great way to see
real heavy equipment up close and in action. These photos should also give you some great ideas and inspiration on how to photograph your own models and of which ones are interesting to collect.

Equipment photo
of the Month!

In every country of the world, heavy equipment is in use. No matter where your travels take you, chances are that you'll see these giant machines at work. Here are some of the places I visited in 2010 and was able to photograph real heavy equipment in use.

Whether you are a collector of Diecast Construction Toys, work in the construction industry or are a hobbyist who enjoys displaying construction models, this is the cleanest fun you can have while getting dirty. I never know where my travels will take me so the next "Equipment Photo of the Month" could be anywhere in the world. If you are an operator, it could even be your machine. Check back regularly to see what equipment is features. This will give you a great ideas of how to display your own collection.
